Debate Strategy is an advanced-level course designed for students who already understand the basics of debating and want to learn how to consistently win debates through strategic thinking, argument prioritization, rebuttal mastery, and persuasive communication.
This course focuses on the tactics and frameworks used by successful competitive debaters to analyze motions, construct powerful cases, identify winning issues, manage time effectively, and outperform opponents. Students learn how to think strategically before, during, and after a debate while developing the confidence to handle high-pressure competitive environments.
Through case studies, mock debates, strategic drills, and advanced feedback sessions, students learn how to transform good arguments into winning arguments. Debate training strengthens critical thinking, communication, persuasion, and decision-making skills.
