Nolimit City has expanded its Duck Hunters slot franchise with the release of Duck Hunters 2, a follow-up to the original title that builds on the position multiplier mechanics that have become increasingly common across the online slot market in recent years. The new online slot retains the core multiplier-based format of its predecessor while increasing the maximum multiplier available on a single position and introducing additional bonus upgrades, feature-buy options and side-bet mechanics.

The release carries the studio’s familiar configuration approach. Duck Hunters 2 launches with a 96.00% RTP configuration as its highest available setting, alongside alternative versions with RTP levels of 94.05% and 92.01%. The game carries an extreme volatility rating and allows bets ranging from €0.20 to €100 per spin.

The action will kick off with New Zealand’s David Yan in the lead, sitting as he does with 5.3 million chips, a good chunk more than his closest challengers Yuri Dzivielvski (3 million) and Niklas Astedt (2.6 million). Of those two, it is perhaps the Swede Astedt who will fancy their chances more than anyone, desperate to seal the deal having accumulated almost $2 million in winnings in the tournament series but never having closed one out to take the outright win.

Black Cube, an intelligence firm hired by Playtech in 2020 to look into alleged illegal behaviour at its rival Evolution, released a divisive report into Evolution’s actions. Evolution denied and refuted much of its findings.

Evolution then commissioned Spectrum Gaming Group to produce a report on its actions and the validity of the Black Cube report. Produced in 2022, the report has long been subject to confidentiality despite Evolution claiming the report exonerated the company.
