Public Speaking 102 is an intermediate-level course designed for students who want to move beyond the basics of public speaking and develop the confidence, clarity, and influence of exceptional communicators. The course focuses on advanced speech delivery, storytelling, audience engagement, persuasive speaking, stage presence, and impromptu communication.
Students will learn how to structure compelling speeches, use vocal variety effectively, connect emotionally with audiences, and present with confidence in academic, professional, and leadership settings. Through live practice sessions, speech evaluations, and presentation challenges, students gain practical experience that prepares them for debates, Model United Nations, interviews, leadership roles, and public speaking competitions.
